🛋 What is AFTERMATH?
Imagine if a kink party, bdsm education discussion panel and a munch decided to converge and share an agenda on a Sunday afternoon, hosted in an epic Shibari studio.
AFTERMATH is a friendly, welcoming kink-centric space designed to provide a quiet come-down from your weekend kink-tivities and in an environment that is conducive to conversation with fellow pervs.
At AFTERMATH you’ll get the chance to:
• Connect with the awesome humans you met the night prior at Purgatory (or other events, we welcome you all!)
• Debrief on party shenanigans, show off your ouchies and throw a few high-fives
• Centre yourself in aftercare discussions with a few friends, the person you played with or a broader community chat
• If you’re new to TheEighthCircle? It’s a fabulous chance to meet our team and some of the regular attendees. We encourage those looking to be vetted for TheEighthCircle parties to attend Aftermath and meet us in person – a perfect chance for us both to ask any important questions
• Hone in on bdsm education covering topics including consent, personal accountability, scene safety, aftercare and much more. (curriculum will evolve with the group)
• Devour all the snacks and sugar
• Cuddle with one of our cuddle sluts, if you ask nicely
• Watch a movie with us
🪢 Other activities:
Shibari Sydney is a very well equipped venue for practising shibari. Given the down-tempo nature of this event, we ask that any rope play be considered, gentle, floor-play based. Strictly no suspension.
⏱️ The time-sheet:
Timing for activities is loosely estimated for below schedule:
Doors open: 4pm
• socialising, snacks, chats, casual rope for those into rope
Education panel: 5-6pm
• Group participation encouraged. Curriculum and length of discussion will vary each week
Movie commences: between 5.30-6pm (whenever the panel ends)
• If movies aren’t your thing, feel free to continue socialising or practising floor rope as you please.
👕 Dress Code:
Strictly shoes off, comfortable clothing to ensure you’re comfortable during discussions, gentle activities and cuddle puddles. Be cute, be comfortable, be yourself.
No nudity, please.
This is a relaxed event in a strictly no-sex space.
This is your chance to decompress, learn, and connect in a supportive environment. Whether you’re new to the scene or an experienced practitioner, AFTERMATH provides a warm and welcoming community to decompress from your weekend, share your knowledge and make new connections.
